Finn Juhl, Danish Modern, in Trapholt
Danish designer and architect Finn Juhl was born in 1912, and on the occasion of his centenary, Trapholt pays tribute to this icon of Danish Modern with a major exhibition. Juhl's furniture has a distinctively organic, sculptural idiom, that was far removed from the the furniture design of the time.
He designed the interior of the Trusteeship Council Chamber at the UN headquarters in New York in 1951, which is currently undergoing a refurbishing job with new additions by Kaspar Salto and Thomas Sigsgaard.
